While meeting the above two basic conditions, if you want to transport vehicles as ordinary goods, you must also meet the requirements of SP961, that is, meet any of the following conditions:

1. For vehicles driven by flammable liquid fuel, the fuel tank is empty; for vehicles driven by flammable gas fuel, the liquid or compressed gas in the fuel tank has been emptied, the positive pressure in the tank does not exceed 2 Pa, and the fuel shut-off valve Or the isolation valve has been closed and tightened;

2. The vehicle is driven purely by wet batteries, dry batteries or sodium batteries, and the batteries have been short-circuit-proof measures;

3. The vehicle equipment has been loaded in the box in an appropriate way and it is determined that it will not move;

4. The container and vehicle equipment do not contain undeclared hazardous substances;

To put it simply, vehicles transported by containers should empty the fuel or gas in the fuel tank, and take measures to prevent short-circuiting of the installed batteries to meet the SP961 condition, so that the car cargo can be transported in accordance with ordinary cargo transportation.

However, for vehicles driven by internal combustion engines, fuel cells or batteries that do not meet the requirements of SP961, they must be classified as category 9 dangerous goods in accordance with the provisions of SP962 and be transported as dangerous goods in accordance with the provisions of SP92.
